integrating apps
We remind our readers that whilst digital technology is merely a tool to assist in achieving the desired learning outcome or experience, integrating apps into prayer can enable you to create a learner-centred, constructivist and collaborative learning environment. They also provide opportunities for teachers to integrate a range of Multiple Intelligences.
"The intelligences are languages that all people speak and are
influenced, in part, by the cultures in which we are born"
(Howard Gardner, Frames of Mind).

Candle apps for Prayer
Lighting a candle for prayer acts as a sign of God's presence among us - a light in the dark.It symbolises our commitment; the candle only produces its light by burning itself and thus portrays the sacrificial nature of love. There are many candle apps which can be used on devices in conjunction with music that you might have on your device. You will need to open your music first, close it (the music will continue to play) and then open your candle app. Remember to turn off any notifications on your device. Below is a word document, created by Jacinta which contains ideas on how you might pray with a candle app.
